A large black and white photograph of Stuart Sutcliffe taken by Astrid Kirchherr in Hamburg close to the river Elbe in the early sixties. The print was developed from the original negative in the 1980s and Astrid has signed in pencil on the reverse. Copyright stamp verso.
The photograph measures 59cm x 48cm (23.25 inches x 19 inches). The condition is excellent.
