Description
A green glass decorative paperweight in the shape of an apple which was produced by the French glass and crystal maker Daum. It was manufactured in order to be sold at The Beatles’ Apple boutique on Baker Street, London in the late 1960s.
The paperweight measures approximately 11.5cm (4.5 inches) in height. There are a few very light marks in places. The condition is excellent.
Provenance: from the collection of the manager of the Apple boutique, John Lyndon. The paperweight comes with a modern glossy photograph of Ringo Starr holding a similar green glass apple in The Beatles’ Apple offices.
